Privacy Disclosures

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: November 2, 2026 • Honest, accurate, and transparent

1. Overview & Commitment

At AI Label Remover (“we”, “us”, “our”), privacy and transparency are fundamental. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit our website and use our image metadata cleaning tools, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using this website, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Image File Handling & Server Processing

When you use the Smart Image Metadata Cleaner or any of our metadata tools, your image file is transmitted securely over HTTPS to our server-side image processing engine:

  • Memory-First Processing: Your image is loaded into volatile memory (RAM) where its binary markers, EXIF headers, GPS coordinates, and IPTC/XMP data are parsed and stripped.
  • Zero Permanent Image Storage: We do not write your original or cleaned image to permanent storage or databases. Temporary files are deleted immediately after the cleaned file is delivered to your browser.
  • No Machine Learning Training: We never use user images to train AI or computer vision models.
  • No Sharing with Advertisers: Your uploaded images and their contents are never shared with advertisers or any third party, including Google.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to run and improve the service:

  • Operational telemetry: file format, file size in bytes, output size, processing duration, and success/error status. We do not log image pixel content, photo titles, EXIF values, or GPS coordinates.
  • Server log data: like most websites, our servers and hosting provider may automatically record your IP address, browser type, device type, referring/exit pages, and date/time of visit for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
  • Information you send us: if you contact us, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply.

We do not require you to create an account to use our public tools, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

4. Cookies & Web Beacons

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use strictly necessary cookies for site functionality and secure administrative session authentication. Third-party partners described below may also set cookies or use similar technologies (such as web beacons and pixel tags) when you visit our pages. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling cookies may affect how some site features and ads work.

5. Advertising — Google AdSense & Third-Party Vendors

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this website. Please note the following:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website and/or other websites on the internet.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • Google and its partners may use identifiers such as cookies, device identifiers, and IP address, and may collect information about ad interactions for ad delivery, personalization, measurement, fraud prevention, and reporting.
  • We do not control the cookies or technologies used by third-party advertisers, and we have no access to the information they collect through them. This information is governed by their own privacy policies.

Your advertising choices:

6. Consent for Visitors in the EEA, UK & Switzerland

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we request your consent through a consent management banner before storing or accessing non-essential cookies or similar identifiers for advertising purposes. You can accept, decline, or change your choice at any time through the privacy/cookie settings link on our site. Where consent is not given, ads shown may be limited to non-personalized ads.

7. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and secure the website and image tools;
  • To diagnose errors, monitor performance, and prevent abuse;
  • To respond to your messages and support requests;
  • To display advertising that helps keep our tools free to use;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

8. Data Retention

Uploaded images are not retained after processing. Operational telemetry and server logs are kept only as long as necessary for security, diagnostics, and legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of the correspondence.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to external sites and advertisements that lead to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money; advertising partners may collect identifiers through cookies as described in Section 5. You can exercise your choices through the privacy settings on our site or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Our website is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable law requires), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Data Security & International Transfers

We use HTTPS encryption and reasonable technical safeguards to protect data in transit and during processing. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by our hosting and advertising partners, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.
