The engine safely reads the image pixel stream into temporary memory, standardizes the EXIF orientation so your photo remains upright, and discards all non-visual metadata chunks (EXIF, IPTC, XMP, comments, prompts). The clean image is then re-encoded and verified before being presented for download.
Stripping metadata removes all embedded prompts, generation tags, and C2PA Content Credentials markers from the file itself. However, major social platforms also use computer vision models and imperceptible pixel watermarks (such as Google SynthID) to identify AI imagery. Removing metadata protects file privacy and deletes workflow parameters, but does not guarantee bypassing automated neural vision classifiers.
No. All files are processed transiently in memory (RAM) and temporary runtime storage. They are immediately deleted as soon as the cleaning operation completes. We never store original photos, cleaned outputs, camera information, or GPS coordinates in any permanent database.
